Rule #1 BE CAREFUL
To reinforce, do not intentially drive with a flat on
the rear, the stem will pull in and kill the tube and
tire.
Most shops will not mess with split ring wheels.
A bead hammer and two tir irons will get the job done.
Use LOTS of corn starch or baby powder to reinstall
the tube and wheel.
The field manual call for using chains wrapped around
the tire through the handholds holding the ring
captive. Inflate slowly and allow the tire bead to
move onto the ring, once up on the ring then it is
safe.
Getting the old beads to bread is the big chore.
Good luck with a truck shop.
There is an old school tire store downtown behind Ga.
Baptist Hospital (Prior Tire)[spelling] that will do
them.
BE CAREFUL remember lugs are at 450 ft. lb
