Removing the stub axle in the rear will solve most of your steering
problems. Single tires will help also. Used the deuce yesterday to tow a
stuck pick-up truck up an icy hill without a problem and the deuce was in
"4x4" mode (with snow chains, of course).

Don't think I'll need that axle again, but I do bring it along, just in case
