The problem with the Greenies - anti-power generation people
is that the only viable alternative to Gasoline or Diesel is Hydrogen.
Unfortunately, Hydrogen is only the 'messenger'. It is not a naturally
occuring (in quanities we need) and has to be made with electricity
or some other means. It is the best 'messenger', far and away better
than any batteries now or in the forseeable future. If we went on a
crash program to build standard design nuke reactors like the French
did and added wind, solar and dams, we could make enough electricity
eventually to greatly reduce our need for motor fuel and heating oil.

We will not do this until it is waay too late and very painful. Expect
your way of life to diminish....
