Re: [MV] To any and all concerned MVPA members and future members

Mike, not joining the MVPA? Well, you can never change the organization if
you don't belong. This behavior, I believe, has happened because not enough
caring members have joined. To many, me included, thought of this just as a
magazine subscription. Then I started going to events. I never seem to
have the time or be in the right place while I was in the military. Now I
find the time to take an interest in the organziation that I have belonged
to since 1982 I have strated writing articles for the publications.

I would really like not to see this organization fail. There is a lot of
unrealized potential. If we can ever just get the momentive going and keep
out of distraction like these stupid board fights or trying to change the
MVPA to be everything to everyone (going away from our core of collecting
military vehicles).

At this point even if you WERE a member you right to vote against or for Jim
has been usurped by the board with lame and vague allegations. It's a
shameful event. It's also shameful that we have not heard from board
members that can claim not to have participated in this ill-advised event.

I too would like to have an itemized list of what Jim said here. Was it
really just that he told you some FACTS that didn't stack up against your
BELIEVES. Did he ask you one of his favorite questions--get 'em every
time...."But how do you know?"
