While out on your next Chritsmas trip down the interstate, stop by a Truck style Fuel stop for your wife/ significant other to use the restroom. Then slip around the donuts and goodies counter to the back of the store where the truckers enter.
To use: Simpy connect the glad hand to the rear Right (passenger side) RED painted connector, then reach behind the tailight and looking away from the joint (Don't want to blow dust in your eye) rotate the very stiff (usually) valve till the air bleeds into the hose. Then with the truck either running or not, fill to your hearts intent.
To shut it down, MAKE SURE you turn the valve OFF first, elsewise all the air in the system will escape, possibly in your face....(again, I look away as I disconnect...)
Army issued Black and Dark red hoses, natural rubber type, but I'm certain others were issues whenever someone made a local procurement.
I want to screw off the air chuck, add a quick connect to it and the hose, then use other standard air tools like a blower, etc tro clean air filters, the cab, etc.

There on the bottom shelf for around $25.00 you'll find a Glad hand hose and air chuck setup. Sometimes bright blue, yellow or if lucky black (Army had black or dull red from what I've ever seen, mines bright blue now ;o( )
Or you could use the older method of connecting under the dash....
