The cold high idle solenoid works automatically. It kicks down after 3-4
minutes.

I have two questions about my M1028 transmission. Does anyone else have
a kick down gear when they floor the pedal? I don't have one. And How
does one go about checking and cleaning the vacuum modulator - is this
detailed in one of the TM's?
