It shows up as circuit number 55 (orange wire) with the downshift switch linked to the throttle in figure F-4 of the vehicle schematics in TM 9-2320-289-20. It appears to be located in the cab, so I assume that it is under the dash. The downshift solenoid is shown in figure F-3, although the exact location isn't specified.

He means passing gear... from 3 to 2...I believe.. it is vacuum modulated on the tranny with a control on the side of the inj pump.. RAM
