RE: France MV Ban - But why?

Perhaps its because all the WW2 vehicles left in France after the live
firing exercise finished failed to pay import duty?

You may laugh but in the 1970's I understand France actively pursued Germany
for such import duty, the Hun having failed to publish accounts from
1940 -44.

Come on guys just look at facts.

The main reason for the ban is obviously so the collectors cannot screw up
French History.

The next time France surrenders, the collectors might fight back & that will
forever taint the French perfect record of continuous capitulation.
