Peoples,
Looking at my Mutt books, it shows the wheel "lifting eyes" as not for lifting, but for securing the vehicle to a railraod car for transport and the "hooks" at the four corners of the vehcile for lifting.

Granted, the eyes and hooks can be used for different purposes...
