My M813A1 had a bit of water in the system.
Sometimes the throttle would float in such a way
that the RPMs would not drop after I came off the
throttle. Purging the fuel system fixed this. It
took draining the fuel tank and change the fuel
filters.

Have you checked your fuel system?
