I think my response to this person would be:
Excuse me sir, could you please hold that thought while I go fetch the
amo.....
And just in case he waits, return with a sharpie and write on the PVC
pipe in
nice large capital letters: "This is a piece of PVC pipe". Then thank
him for providing me
with such wonderfull humor.
