Well, I painted the part of the hub that you turn bright red. Then I
painted the free arrow yellow, and locked arrow red. When locked all red.

Subject: [MV] CUCV Hub lock indicator line

Esteemed experts:

On the CUCVs, what is the correct way to paint the indicator line for the
front hub lock position? I have seen trucks with two different ways, both of
which are opposite. Never have I seen anything official in print on this.

1 - Lock the hub. Paint line across in this position so that connected line
= locked hub. Broken line = disconnected hub. This way makes sense.

2 - Unlock hub. Paint line across this so that straight line = unlocked hub.
Broken line = connected hub. This way seems backwards.

Anyone know the correct way?

Jim
