John:

Thanks for the support. I am glad to find so many on the list who support
this position. Please keep all posts flowing through the mil-veh list so
everyone can share the collective effort. I am hoping MVPA officials are
monitoring this to see the volume of concerned writers. I also fully expect
to see an official response from MVPA to my query, posted to this list. An
open discussion, in this public forum of concerned people, is the only way to
go on this.

Best regards,
chuck

Chuck,
I wanted to commend you for your post to the mil-veh list. I was working on
my own post that had exactly the points yours did. So I won't bother with
mine. Your first point:

>1. The letter states: "The MVPA was informed by federal government officials
>...". Who are these officials? FBI? DOD? Who specifically is involved?
>Was MVPA informed in writing? If so, please publish for all to see.

was obviously in response to the first sentance of Clevelands post. I found
this sentance to be the most revealing of all. The fact that 'the
government' actually contacted a non profit association for the stated
purpose to me seems strange. As you say, who was it and exactly what was
said. I think it would be wise to push MVPA for the above information,
hard. I will be contacting them via voice phone soon. If you find out
anthing let me know!

thanks
