As well as the Form 97, you will need successive Bill of Sales covering the
ownership of the veh from when the 97 was issued until now. They may ding you
for all of the back fees plus penalties also. If the 97 says it's a GMC, then
it is. Don't say it's anything else, or you will open a whole new can of
worms. You will probably have to have the vin number verified. They will
basically check the model number and vin only.
