As an EMT and Fire Fighter as well as a former Police Officer I can attest to
the healing powers of humor......what we have trouble coping, with we make
light of. This practice helps to keep our sanity in an insane world. On a
national level the Challenger disaster affected us all and many made jokes
about it, this helped the healing process the nation went through. It was not
to belittle the accomplishments of, or the respect due to the individuals
involved. It just simply helps us to cope with difficult situations. We were
all saddened by the loss of the A10 pilot and mean him no disrespect but a
little humor can go a long way in helping the nation through difficult times.

Sorry for the off subject posting but I finally felt compelled to add my two
cents worth.
