Almost there, Antoine,

Think you might need one more sentence to make it clear that the exception
applies only to MBs as all GPWs, even prior to May 42, had combat rims.

I only bother to mention this because I have 3 vehicles which need the
solid rims. I'm afraid that if you tell those wealthy doctors, lawyers and
computer wizards who own all the GPWs that they need them, too, they'll buy
up all the existing solid rims and I'll never see another one.

Also the rims with the slots are much nicer than the solids, usually have a
neat pin stripe, help with brake cooling and are more stable in a
crosswind. You can also put those little singlet skid chains on without
all the hassle of a full tire chain. So, if after hearing all these great
benefits of the slotted rims anyone wants to trade their solid junk for
these wonderful units, I'm happy to oblige.
