One other thing to remember is that any military truck is intended to be able
to carry twice its rated capacity when necessary. The world famous GMC CCKW
series of 2 1/2 ton trucks are actually 2 1/2 to 5 ton trucks. 21/2 tons
is their off-road rated capacity. Their rated capacity is 5 tons on hard
surfaced roads. Its in the manual somewhere if you don't want to take my word
for it.
