The small museum at Camp Atterbury (National Guard camp 30 min south
of Indianapolis, IN) has a nice one on static display (as well as
about 4 different M4 Shermans, a M3 Stuart, several M48 and M60s, and
lots of other goodies... including one of my old M110A2 SP Howitzers).
Speaking as an Artillery officer, I'd be less than thrilled being in
charge of a direct fire weapons system that had to be reloaded
externally, and appears to lack sufficient armor to stop spitballs....
not to mention being NOISY and attracting undue undesirable attention
from hostile neighbors after firing at said neighbors!
