Upon opening my '51 M37 voltage regulator, I found that a sealed unit
seals
in water as well as keeping it out! All the points are rusted and the
regulator in general needs to be rebuilt. Question, is it better to
have
these units rebuilt or give up and buy another one? Thanks in advance.

>the voltage regulator on my M-43 packed it in recently so i just replaced it
with
the newer electronic regulator and presto! no problems with adjusting
points or
aquiring obsolete tools.i bought mine off a milveh dealer.
