I own M-715 Kaiser Jeep 67, I just have had installed new gears in
axle's, 4:10 in the front and back,
I want to install taller tires, and since there is nothing that will
work off the shelf, like standard wheels
to mount bigger tires, I will have to have some built, but before, that I
am looking to see if there is anything
that will fit the bolt pattern (six hole old Doge 1950-1960?). I have
seen that I can go to a 20" inch wheel
and still have enough clerance to mount 1100x20 tires. The UNIMOG I
belive has a six bolt pattern and it is a
20 inch wheel, the question is does any one know what is the bolt
pattern on the UNIMOG is ?? (like the 404, 406, UNIMOG etc..). The
offset seems ok? I think. I am planning to install an engine that will
pull the truck,
since the stock engine, (230 Tornado) has no guts with the new gears. I
want to sell the Tornado Eng. make an offer 22,000 on engine , with MSD
ignition, no points, and advance computer, I have many spares (head,
water pump, oil pump, and all axle gears 5:87 very good shape. I am in
Denver, Colorado. Al Karson..
