Probably 'Bart Vanderveen's' books. Either his earlier series of three
'Observer' books. His series of 'Olyslager Auto Library' books. Or
even his 'Wheels & Tracks' magazines (if he has covered what you are
looking for in them you have struck gold).

Of course there are many books that specialise in one particular sphere,
but I think his for general coverage could be the best. (I think he has
been at it longer than anyone else now, and he is available for
correspondence if you need to dig further).
