Thanks to all who replied to my question. Now my next ? is... Does the
sending unit know what voltage is running to it ? If I would replace the fuel
gauge with a new 12 volt gauge would that fix the problem or would I have to
replace the sending unit also? I realize the voltage reducer would protect my
gauge but I am not really sure how the sending unit is affected. Thank you..
