Hi Raimondo, you need to get hold of a copy of Fred Crismon's book 'US
MILITARY WHEELED VEHICLES' He has photos in there of just about every
common truck on railway conversions by 'Evans Auto-Railer' Including 1
ton and 3/4 ton Dodges plus jeeps and GMCs. Most conversions were
fairly straightforward, just bolting guide wheels on front and back.
Many vehicles needed special hubs and wheels to change the width
though, so that the tyres would drive on the rail.
