Rubery-Owen in the UK made a small number of powered trailers for use
with Land Rovers, including the 1-tonne FC101. Since the experiment was
not totally successful (drive-train failures and a tendency for the
trailer to push the towing vehicle over when deployed at an acute angle)
production ceased, AFAIK.

It is possible that Rubery-Owen made these things for other vehicles also
- perhaps someone more knowledgeable will comment?
