Did you have to pay this guy to make that statement..??? I don't know
guys..now really. Gloss paints have a "clear" in them. While curing, the
gloss comes to the surface when the paint "flashes".. Get my drift. Then
when you begin to wear this "gloss" coat off the OD paint..?? what do you
think is going to happen..?? Yup--you get those ugly white edges.. Stick to
the real stuff (talc?? $&& $%#$) I used talc on my models as a filler on
the balsa... but that was before dirt. In the real army we went as far as
to mix "extra fine" sand in the paint that we strained through some brass
screens that were ripped from a diesel filter. We even used powdered metal
for attracting radar..sure lit up the MILES gear.....!!!! Remember guys, I
was born before Hitler invaded Poland...1SG PANTANO
