The government has stepped up the pressure another notch. After
contacting the ATF and the State Department the answers are as follows.

ATF: We are not issuing any permits for anything pending review and
guidance from the State Department. We are not recalling any permits
that are issued at this time. Phone # 202 927-8320

State: We have instructed AFT to discontinue issuing permits of any kind
while the issue of importing armored vehicles are under review as well
as parts.
As to importing American Armor in the future, Quote, hell no, the public
has no business owning armored vehicles. 202 647-2558 Mr. Bob McMan . We
are also looking to see if we have the authority to stop foreign
equipment entering the country. If we can stop foreign armor coming into
the country we will. Quote:

Question: Where did this directive come from. Ansewer, The heighest
level of government. ( The President )

The controller of US Arms imports is Doug Johnson 202 647-5157.

The mission, call these Bas---- and tie up the phones so they can't
condust business. If you don't they will get away with this. They have
the notion that we should not own this type on equipment!

What this sound like is the assuly weapons ban all over again.

Now , dont't answer back to me, call where it hurts!!!!!

Earl T.
