Bob,
I don't think that political matters is what the MVPA is all about. It's
an international nonprofit organization dedicated to the collection,
preservation and restoration of military vehicles, and the education
of members and the public. The means are just not there to become
a lobby. Check out the NRA. Millions of members and big bucks
working to protect our freedom of firearms ownership, and they still
have a tough time. I think that it would take an organization created
specially for the purpose of lobbying, letter writing and phoning our
legislators to aid us in preserving what little freedom we have.
