Hi,

I had an interesting experience this weekend while redoing the brakes on a
1943 GPW. I started in on the right front brake and found the shoe with
the large pad area on the rear of the mount and the shoe with the smaller
pad area on the forward part of the mount. When I got to the left front
brake....the shoes were reversed....large pad area shoe forward and small
pad area to the rear....WHICH WAY IS CORRECT?
