[MV] Starting a hot mule.

Hi all,

I've been so pleased with my mule (2 cylinder). I'd follow the proceedure
in the book and all fall, winter, and spring it would start on the first
pull. Having done a number of parades in the last 3 days in 90+ deg temps
it is not doing so well. Seems that it will start off in the morning OK but
trying to start it after it's been running is almost futile. Even 2 hours
later in one case. I've heard, and I found out myself, that they seem to be
sensative on the choke so I didn't use it in the above situation, never
needed to before anyway (when starting it after having recently run it).
Yet we smelled gas in the exhaust as if it was flooded.

The question to any or all of you experienced mule users is what do you do
in hot weather to start it (short of putting electric start on it)????
