The transmission in my 211 was rebuilt in 1967 and lasted till 1999 when it
lost low range. Not bad for a automatic. They work pretty good if you take
care of them. You have to remember they were some of the earliest automatics
on the market. I replaced mine with the manual shift conversion from Memphis
Equipment, and it work great.
