So we have what appears to be two conflicting stories. I must point out that it
would not make any sense for an individual to bid off two large lots of hmmwv's
in 88 and 93 and then sit on them till now. I must also note that the GSA has
no business with military equipment. As I understand it all military eq goes to
the DRMO which can give it to fed agency which then can depose of it through
GSA. I also thought that the form 97 was a DRMO form. Has anyone ever got one
from GSA?
Perhaps the marines wanted to bypass DRMO to get rid of these 600 vehicles.
Does anyone know of it happening in the past?

Except for the GSA part, Mr. Burke writes a convincing tale.

pss seems strange to require car dealers license for something that is off road
only
