many years ago in MVPA mag Army motors, i recall an article and picture
showing that Patton's ETO command car had various modifications including,
flags, (not a suprise, )air horns, plus armoured louvers on the rad grill( a
la halftrack) and , memory is fuzzy here, no spare wheel carrier?
it also has i believe a strange gun mount?

if anyone else has got that pic it would be nice to see it again.
