I'm looking at buying a US Army 5 Ton 6X6 M52 that has a gasoline
burning engine. I will be checking the truck out on Monday but I
have a question about the gas engine. If I understand correctly the
original version M52 had the gasoline engine, the M52A1 had a diesel
engine, and the M52A2 had the multifuel LD465. How good is the gas
version engine? Is it reliable or should I wait and get a A2 version?

Thanks,
Bryan

PS: My '64 Dodge Air Force W200 Ambulance with PTO winch is still for
sale. The truck runs great and is located in central Florida. My dad
just made a 250 mile drive with this truck. I am open to offers. Email
me for more info.
