Expect chassis serial number to be in the MB 101xxx range.
RAAF ( Royal Australian Air Force ) and number 212620
RAAF number is valid. But chassis allocated to this bonnet was reportedly a
Ford GPW with a late 43 early 44 chassis.
Comment: Late 44 delivery Aussie jeeps of ex US origins were made up of
various parts. It is possible that this jeep is old body parts on later
chassis & running gear. Especially if sourced ex Queensland.
