> I'm not sure what to make of this item - it was found with some WW2
uniforms in a trunk. I believe it's a guide book for procuring replacement
parts for battle-damaged or worn-out units. I can't tell if it represents
all the vehicles shown or just one. The spine printing is: "ORD 9 SNL G-502
TRUCK, 3/4-TON, 4x4 (Dodge)(Model T 214) 1 MAY, 1945". Catalog is missing
the cover and pages 1 and 2. Over 400 pages long! Provides a fascinating
view of the level of detail required to keep the troops and munitions moving
during wartime. Just about every other page is an exploded view of some
component with every single sub-part identified and catalogued! Also
significant as the war was just about over in May 1945 when this was issued.
Someone was sufficiently interested to bring this back with them. I am
offering this fine item without reserve - winning bidder owns it outright.

> ase DO ask questions before you bid and buy. My method of shipping for
items weighing less than five pounds is via U.S. Priority Mail; the base
rate ranges from $3.20 - $6.50 for small items, fee dependant on weight,
plus insurance/handling cost. Larger and heavier items will vary, plus
insurance/handling cost. If you live outside of the U.S., your shipping
rates will be different, so please let me know upon first contact. Canadian
and overseas bidders are very welcome but payment is to be made in US funds
and total value must be declared on the item for insurance reasons.
Finally, we reserve the right to relist in the event of an unreasonably late
bid retraction. Thanks for looking and Have a Great eBay Day!
