Re: [MV] Getting a Ferret title, etc

Calif is nearly identical in method to those Jim discussed. I preceded Jim's
suggestions over a year ago in California and it went thru just fine....
However, in Michigan and California there is a classification for armored car.

Note: If you use an armored car commercially ( say charging for rides ) you
open yourself up to a whole host of new fees and inspections and involve
other depts besides DMV. You really don't want to go there. Better to avoid
this classification if at all possible.

If you were fortunate enough to have your little Ferret titled as a Daimler
car you may escape the future seizure of your vehicle, but only for a bit
longer than those who have them listed as a historic armored vehicle.

I'm sure when the time comes the armored vehicle list will be used just like
the assault rifle list and your little toy will soon be confiscated or
worse... you'll be confiscated along with it! Example of what I am talking
about: Jan. 1st, 2000 the new People's Democratic Republic of Kalifornia
will start seizing even a humble SKS sporter rifle. The SKS becomes illegal
to own and if you are caught.. you are in big trouble, just like the so
called sem-auto assault rifle.
