Vacuum hose is usually just plain rubber or synthetic. Fuel line is usually
much thicker walled and reinforced with an internal mesh layer to withstand
fuel pump pressure. You could substitute fuel hose in place of vacuum hose
if it is the correct inside diameter, however you would NOT want to use
vacuum hose in place of fuel line hose!!
