Several folks have told me that Dexron III is a suitable replacement
for Dexron II. Cool! Now, can the two be mixed, or do I need to flush
out the old fluid first? I plan to drain my HMMWV's transmission,
replace the transmission filter, and then refill it, but the lube
order implies that a lot of transmission fluid remains in the system
when you do a simple drain-and-refill. If I need to flush it, how do I
do that?

Thanks in advance...
