First off, GORTEX DOESN"T WORK FOR VERY LONG. Its a bug rip-off. Second,
washing it in anything but the very mildest detergents will ruin what
effectiveness exists. And you CANNOT reproof it. It just becomes a noisy
windbreaker after that. The US military got suckered 18 years ago and evryone
is still paying the price.
