I can't recall the specifics of that particular scene, but what puzzles me
to this day is the ID of trucks seen in all sorts of VN photos which look
sort of like a CCKW "bigger brother" with very similar grillwork, but
considerably wider than the CCKW in all respects. Could be something the
French had been using over there which got inherited by various arms of the
military and civvies, but as I've never had the opportunity to see one up
close and personal, I'm can't say for sure.

Pick up any of the Time-Life VN books, and you'll see 'em all over the
place.
