Dick was going to revolutionize the winching world with his "Hickey Sidewinder" electric winch. His tabloid
approach
to the marketing of 4WD equipment was second only to Ron Popeil of "Ronco Vegomatic" fame.

I have a book put out by Portrayal Press called, " Vehicle Recovery and Field Expedients "
dated from 1952.
