That's what I thought too, but I was curious and poked around on the
web a little. It seems that this is a well-known performance
enhancement for heavy-duty civilian towing vehicles. It seems that it
is safe for the engine and is used all the time (one kit is triggered
by the boost of the turbo), not momentarily like nitrous oxide.

I'm going to try it on my deuce and M1007! Plus I can use the propane
