Personally, I agree with G.R. Considering the investment in equipment
required and EPA reg, etc, it is usually more cost effective to hire
sandblasting. I had my DUKW hatch covers, windshield frame ( I
disasembled the frame prior to blasting), rear deck panel done for under
$100.00.

Now, here is the catch! You must retrieve the parts immediately and get
the primer on them quickly ( read within hours ) or they will begin to
surface rust and you will have to clean them before painting.

Unless you are using the equipment frequently, it probably isn't worth
buying your own equipment.
