RAM,

If you go to AT&T Directories, Mapquest, Mapsonus, or several others,
it is really nice to zoom in on an area that you are going to, & see all
the side streets up close.

We went to Alaska & back to NJ, 12500 miles without using the net.
Since then I have used it for several trips. An example was to a
hospital in NYC. We were able to see every street. It worked great.
 

It need not be the only map, but, it is an excellent addition for
planning.
