Same here. I was having a problem with the Ferret's brakes, and upon bleeding
it, I noticed the fluid was coming out yellowish, even though I changed the old
dot 3 fluid with the purple stuff. I checked the rear left wheel and it came
out sort of very light purple, but the right one (the one that locked) was
definitely yellow. I was going to bleed it until it got purple but it is too
hot to go out and do it these days, will do it before I drive it next time.
Anybody knows if this change of colors is any kind of indication of a problem?
Maybe dot 5 changes colors when it gets real hot?
