Yes, you are right but in this day and age most people don't know how to
double clutch or even know what it is. Most would just clash the gears.
 Why would one want to do a moving downshift into 1st anyway? If you are
coming to stop sign just wait until the thing is stopped to shift and if
ya need lower gearing while moving, it is much easier to just throw the
transfer case lever down into low range and go from there. It is
syncro'd. Flame on
