You need to upgrade your service!

150 amps, at least.

A word of caution about this type of load:

CHECK YOUR NEUTRAL CONNECTIONS if you run your
compressor on 120 Volts. Loose connections here is a
common problem and can cause the wiring to heat up.

Running it on 220 isn't so bad because only the hot
wires are used, if there is a loose connection there
it will show sooner because something will quit
working altogether. A poor neutral connection won't
show up under low current conditions, you won't even
notice it until you put a big current draw on it.
