Tom,

Not everyone has a 16" turret lathe in their garage that they can use to
chuck up their spare set of drive flanges (everyone has a set of those
sitting around also??) just to machine out the splines.

I though the design and approach is solid and requires few tools, or at
least not a mill or a lathe.
