OK, here's another observation and opinion.

We have a grinder with a 350 HP engine. It has a hand pump on the injection
pump that is used to prime the system if you run out of fuel, or when you
change the filters.

The M35 has the in tank fuel pump. It does the same thing. I noticed when
I worked on one of my trucks (your truck Cabell) that when ever you remove
fuel system parts, you just switched the truck on and let the in tank pump
push all the air out of the lines. Once all the air bubbles where gone, it
would crank right up. This truck has clear fuel lines.

I therefore ASSumed that if the truck was run out of fuel, any ding dong
could fuel it back up, let the pump run a few minutes and then crank it
until it fired up. No wrenches or thinking required.

Just a thought
