I'm one of those guys who have done this. I've sold 3 VIC-1 systems this way.
One went high, one sold for a little less than average and one sold for the
listing price of $49.99. I guess what I'm trying to say is I have no problem
on folks advising of their ebay listings. I've gotten good deals this way and
I've offered good deals this way. I bid what I'm willing to pay and if another
lister wants to pay more, he gets it. You only get ripped if you pay more than
you want to and in an auction, nobody is putting a gun to your head and
forcing you to bid. If anybody is put off or doesn't like folks advising of their
ebay listing, just don't bid! I don't like the "make me an offer" guy and
therefore I don't deal with that guy. Just remember, the guy advising of his MV
wares on EBay is more in line with the list than the 1000s of political posts
made herein!
